More Reviews for The Common Touch!

Jamie really liked it. The story centres around likeable protagonist, Major Zara Dare, of the Canadian Forces. Seconded to a security detail for Prince James, security code name ‘Sandhurst’, Zara takes her responsibility of protecting His Royal Highness, while in Canada, seriously and must reign in the romantic attraction which appears to be mutual. She is career oriented above all else. I’m a fan of the Canadian military (my father a gunnery sergeant during WWII) so I enjoyed all the military references and behind the scenes peaks at the running of a security detail between different branches of governments and countries. As their romance intensifies, so does the threat to the Prince’s life. Without giving anything away, Zara fulfils her duty in a fast paced climax. Does the Prince win his lady? Is there a ‘happily ever-after’? Read “The Common Touch” and find out!

B Wolf rated it it was amazing Yvonne Rediger knows the military. Zara is caught up in her duty and her job. Nothing will make her drop it for just any man. Good thing James is much more than average to make her even think about it, and yet would she be happy? The Common Touch gives us a look at the conflict female military members face. Should she choose her duty and the job, or the man who loves her? Or, is it possible to have both? It was a great read, I hope there is a book 2. I want more stories about women who know what they want.

From Ida Hill: I received an ARC to review, and couldn't put the book down. Rediger knows the military. How they think and the life. Zara is caught up in her duty and her job. Nothing would make her drop it for just any man. Good thing James is much more than average to make her even think about it, and yet would she be happy? The Common Touch gives us a look at the conflict female military members face. Should she choose her duty and the job, or the man who loves her? Or, is it possible to have both?
